Holotype male, dissected, Tas., off Freycinet Peninsula, 42°02.20'S, 148°38.70'E, 800 m, coarse shelly sand, WHOI epibenthic sled, M.F. Gomon et al., RV Franklin, 27 Jul 1986 (stn SLOPE 45), NMV J53010. Diagnosis. Carapace with 2 dorsal parallel rows of 4 small tubercles on posterior extremity. Lateral small spines on pereon and pleon. Maxilliped 2 with 1st tooth of dactylus as long as the 3rd one, 5th tooth 1.3 times as long as 3rd tooth, 1st and 2nd teeth enlarged. Maxilliped 3 with teeth on outer margin of merus and carpus. Ischium of pereopod 1 2nd longest article. Pereopod 2 with dactylus 3.7 times as long as propodus. Carpus of 5th pereopod 3.7 times as long as merus. Dactylus of pereopods 3–5 fused with its terminal seta. Uropod peduncle 2.7 times as long as pleonite 6, 2.4 times as long as exopod. Description.
