D. obtusicaudatus de Man, 1884, pp. 167-168, pl. xxvi, fig. 109. D. obtusicaudatu s Bast. f. bütschlii Micol., 1922, p. 508. Most of the specimens seem t o be closely related to the species described by Btitschli and are recognizable b y the tail being not uniformly rounded, but more conical and posteriorly rounded.
