METEOROLOGY OF THE TROPOSPHERE AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF SILVERY CLOUDS IN THE NORTHERN HEMISPHERE IN THE 2019 SEASON ...

Some aspects of studying the influence of tropospheric processes on the emergence and evolution of noctilucent clouds global fields are considered. The main attention is paid to clouds that form in temperate latitudes. Theinitial materials in the work were arrays of noctilucent clouds fields images...

The main attention is paid to clouds that form in temperate latitudes. Theinitial materials in the work were arrays of noctilucent clouds fields images in the northern hemisphere, obtainedduring the implementation of the AIM satellite mission in the 2019 season. During the processing of these images, the daily areas of mesospheric clouds were calculated. Then these data were statistically compared with the dailyaverage temperatures obtained at several selected weather stations. In this case, the study was carried out for stations located in a wide range of longitudes in different climate conditions. To best account for the summer temperature regime in the Arctic, data on average daily temperatures from weather stations located at latitudes of atleast 70 degrees were used. The results obtained indicate the presence of a certain connection between the temperature and ...
