Skliar. - Berkut. 30 (2). 2021. - A critical analysis of two publications containing materials on summer records of adults and young individuals in the southern (forest-steppe) areas of Sumy region (NE Ukraine) in 2016–2020. They were obtained mainly by interviewing few competent people of different specialties. Most likely, the respondents and authors of the articles made mistakes in the identification of the birds encountered, which was proved in several cases. The places, terms, and frequency of these registrations fully correspond to the characteristic features of the distribution and biology of the Lesser Grey Shrike. The question of the reliability of the survey data is raised. [Ukrainian]. ... : Представлений критичний аналіз двох публікацій, що містять інформацію про літні зустрічі дорослих і молодих особин сірого сорокопуда в південних (лісостепових) районах Сумської області у 2016–2020 рр., отримані переважно шляхом опитування малокомпетентних людей різних спеціальностей. Скоріше за все респондентами та авторами статей були допущені помилки в ідентифікації птахів, що й було доведено перевіркою в декількох випадках. Місця, терміни і частота указаних реєстрацій цілком відповідають характерним особливостям поширення й біології сорокопуда чорнолобого. Ставиться питання про достовірність опитувальних даних. ...
