Variations in the focal lengths and sensor size of the different cameras used to capture the source images meant manual aligntment of chunks was necessary to generate the raw model in metashape. Clean up was completed in blender and certain photographs that could not be aligned in metashape were manually projected onto the model for texture detail. Additionally fine detail areas of the lighthouse that could not be captured in metashape due to the limited resolution and compression of the youtube sources (such as the circular hand rail), were modeled in blender.
