Material examined. 2 ♀, Razdolnoe, 26.VII.2019, 16–17.VIII.2020; 1 ♀, Yasnomorskoe, 15–16.VIII.2020. Distribution. Russia (S RFE: SW Sakhalin), Japan (Hokkaido, Honshu, Kyushu),? North Korea, South Korea,? China. Remarks. The finding of I. foedata in Sakhalin significantly expands its distribution range to the northeast. All examined specimens were collected on the dry forb meadows situated on the southern insolated slopes. Its indication from the island in Beljaev & Mironov (2019) is a first true report of this species from Russia. The previous note of this species from the Kurils (Kunashir) (Vasilenko 1992: 282) was reidentified as Idaea jakima (Butler) (Beljaev & Mironov 2019). In the continental Far East true I. foedata has not yet been discovered.
