Russia (S RFE: S Sakhalin, S Kurils—Kunashir, S Khabarovskii Krai, S Amurskaya Oblast, Primorskii Krai), Japan (Hokkaido, Honshu, Shikoku, Kyushu), North Korea, South Korea, NE China. Remarks. The host plants of E. wehrli are various species of Ulmus (Ulmaceae), of which Ulmus davidiana subsp. japonica is widespread in S Sakhalin. The moths occurred from late May to mid-July. The finding of E. wehrlii in Sakhalin significantly expand its general distribution range to the northeast.
