The simulations are based on remote sensing data which were processed with the Cloudnet algorithm to derive cloud macro - and microphyiscal products. The atmospheric profiles of temperature, pressure, and ozone are from ERA5 (European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) Re-Analysis) and values of surface albedo from CERES (Clouds and the Earth's Radiant Energy System) SYN1deg Ed. 4.1. ... : We gratefully acknowledge the funding by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG, German Research Foundation) – Project Number 268020496 – TRR 172, within the Transregional Collaborative Research Center "ArctiC Amplification: Climate Relevant Atmospheric and SurfaCe Processes, and Feedback Mechanisms (AC)3".
