On January 22, 2011, the USGS's NACCH project conducted an oblique aerial photographic survey at Breton Island and the Chandeleur Islands, Louisiana, aboard a Cessna 210 aircraft at an altitude of 500 feet (152 meters) and approximately 1,200 feet (366 meters) offshore to collect baseline data.
