Summary: | This data set contains visual surveys along transect lines sampled during the Alaska Fisheries Science Center (AFSC) / National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) walleye pollock stock assessment cruise. Data gathered estimate density and abundance of cetaceans in the survey area. Whale sightings included fin (60), humpback (39), minke (21), sei (1), sperm (6), killer (23), and Baird's beaked (1) as well as Pacific white-sided dolphin (2), harbor (11) and Dallas (93) porpoise. Data were gathered from 06 June 2010 through 05 August 2010. |
