The Local and Traditional Knowledge (LTK) component adds a local human dimension to the overall project, though harvest surveys and monitoring and through interviews with hunters, fishers, and elders. The LTK work is being done in Akutan, St. Paul, Togiak, Emmonak, and Savoonga. This set of notes is from the interviews held in Savoonga in July 2009.
