L. 89-665 et seq .). Fort Sam Houston is a ca. 3,300-acre U.S. Army installation located within the city limits of San Antonio in Bexar County, Texas. This survey was performed under contract with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Worth District, in association with the Environmental Division at Fort Sam Houston. Along with the pedestrian survey to identify archeological resources and assess their eligibility for listing in the National Register of Historic Places, emphasis was placed on examining cutbanks and shovel testing to identify areas having the potential for buried archeological deposits. ...
