Description
Summary:This experiment involved the re-testing of the embankment using the NEES@UCLA MK15 eccentric mass shaker. The plan of shaking was similar to the previous year's shakes. Modifications to this experiment include repair of the timber shaker base, re-compaction of the embankment soils, and saturation of the dessicated peat layer at the site. Saturation of the peat involved building a berm around the embankment and then flooding the area with water from a nearby drainage ditch.
