Secondly, Pavel Luzin analyses the US–Russia space partnership, commenting that both countries may seek to continue this relationship, even if its main benefit is symbolic. Thirdly, Oleg Anisimov, Robert Orttung, Kelsey Nyland, and Alexander Sergunin discuss the possibilities for US–Russian scientific cooperation in the Arctic, pointing to the success of the “Environmental Bilateral” agreement of 1972 as a model for the implementation of the 2017 Agreement on Enhancing International Arctic Scientific Cooperation.
