The Shine Micro RadarPlus Long Range Dual AIS Receiver (SN 153) was deployed on 2019-08-07 at Kugluktuk. Kugluktuk is located at the mouth of the Coppermine River in the Kitikmeot Region of Nunavut, on Coronation Gulf southwest of Victoria Island. This device is a Automatic Identification Systems Receiver. Land-based Automatic Identification System (AIS) receivers provide data that track marine vessels within range of the receiver.
