Summary:The Vaisala PTB110 Barometer G4830002 was deployed on 2018-07-09 at Notre Dame Bay. Notre Dame Bay is located on the northeastern end of Newfoundland. To the south, it adjoins the Bay of Exploits. This device is a Barometric Pressure Sensor. Barometric pressure sensors are used to monitor weather fluctuations and conditions above the surface of the water. It was deployed on a mobile platform. Data from this deployment were archived and made available through Ocean Networks Canada's Oceans 2.0 digital infrastructure, with quality assurance and derived data products following established practices.
