W artykule zaprezentowano nowe spojrzenia na morfogenezę znanych z literatury dwóch dużych dolin marginalnych – Bachorzy i Parchanie, rozcinających Wysoczyznę Kujawską. Jedną z osobliwości tych dolin jest wypukły profil ich den i charakterystyczny łukowaty kształt, wypukłością skierowany na północny wschód. Dźwiganie den tych dolin związane jest z rozmaitymi ruchami skorupy ziemskiej – neotektonicznymi, glaciizostatycznymi i halotektonicznymi. Przeprowadzona przez autora analiza zróżnicowania przestrzennego potencjalnej aktywności neotektonicznej obszaru Wysoczyzny Kujawskiej wskazała na nieopisane dotąd uwarunkowania postglacjalnych przeobrażeń badanych dolin. Analiza ta sugeruje istnienie na całym badanym obszarze tektoniki regionalnej typu blokowego, stymulowanej zapewne tektoniką solną. Czynnikiem wywołującym aktywność poszczególnych bloków uskokowych pokrywy permo-mezozoicznej było obciążenie przez lądolód, a następnie odciążenie po jego ustąpieniu. : The article presents the issue, already known from literature, of morphogenesis of the two large ice marginal valleys out of a number of such structures in the Kujawy Moraine Plateau, i.e. the valleys of the Bachorza and the Parchanie. One of the peculiarities of these valleys is the convex long profile of their bottoms as well as a characteristic arc-like course pointing north-east with its curvature (Fig. 1). Uplifting of the bottoms of these valleys is being connected with the Earth crust’s movements, i.e. neotectonic, glacioisostatics or halotectonics. Spatial diversity of potential neotectonic activity of the Kujawy Moraine Plateau, analysed by the author, partially supports the earlier hypothesis. It also shows other postglacial conditions for transformation of the researched valleys. This analysis suggests the entire area includes block-type regional tectonics. Its spatial layout (geometry) suggests ‘close’ connections with salt tectonics (Fig. 1, 2). The factor which triggered off the activity of the individual fault blocks of the Permo-Mesosoic cover was the load of the ice sheet followed by unloading after the retreat of the ice sheet. The movements of the fault blocks of the Permo-Mesosoic cover, conditioned by the activity of the salt structures, were probably overlapped with the en bloc uplifting of the entire area of the Kujawy Swell. : Nr 4 (2007): Słupskie Prace Geograficzne, 93-101
