Rynny polodowcowe okolic Skarszew to niewielkie formy w porównaniu z dużymi rynnami polodowcowymi centralnej części Pojezierza Kaszubskiego – rynnami jezior Długiego, Raduńskich, Ostrzyckich. Podobnie jak powstanie dużych rynien Pojezierza Kaszubskiego, geneza rynien okolic Skarszew nie jest związana z ostatnim nasunięciem lądolodu na omawiany obszar. Powstanie tych form związane jest ze starszymi lądolodami pokrywającymi ten teren. W kolejnych transgredujących na omawiany obszar lądolodach powstawał powtarzający się system szczelin, w których tworzyły się rynny polodowcowe. : The glacial troughs of the Skarszewy region are quite small in comparison with the big glacial troughs of the central part of the Kaszuby Lake District – the troughs of lake Długie, Raduńskie lakes and Ostrzyckie lakes. Similarly to the creation of the big troughs of the Kaszuby Lake District, the genesis of the furrows of the Skarszewy region is not connected with the last invasion of the continental ice-sheet on the discussed area. Creation of those forms has a connection with the older continental ice-sheets which covered this area. During the next transgressions of the continental glaciers on the discussed area was created a recurrent system of clefts where postglacial troughs were formed. : Nr 4 (2007): Słupskie Prace Geograficzne, 115-122
