This dataset includes chemical, discrete sample, physical and profile data collected from POLARSTERN in the South Atlantic Ocean and Southern Oceans (> 60 degrees South) from 1990-11-17 to 1990-12-30. These data include DELTA HELIUM-3, DISSOLVED OXYGEN, HELIUM, HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE, NEON, NITRATE, NITRITE, SALINITY, Tritium (Hydrogen isotope), WATER TEMPERATURE, phosphate and silicate. The instruments used to collect these data include CTD and bottle. These data were collected by E Fahrbach and W. Roether of Alfred Wegener Institute for Polar and Marine Research and L.
