This dataset includes chemical, discrete sample, physical and profile data collected from POLARSTERN in the South Atlantic Ocean and Southern Oceans (> 60 degrees South) from 2006-08-25 to 2006-10-29. These data include CHLOROFLUOROCARBON-11 (CFC-11), CHLOROFLUOROCARBON-12 (CFC-12), DELTA HELIUM-3, DISSOLVED INORGANIC CARBON (DIC), DISSOLVED OXYGEN, HELIUM, HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE, NEON, NITRATE, NITRITE, SALINITY, TOTAL ALKALINITY (TA), WATER TEMPERATURE, phosphate and silicate.
