Summary: | This dataset includes discrete profile measurements of dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC), total alkalinity, temperature, salinity and nutrients during the USCGC Healy HLY0802; BEST '08 Spring cruise (EXPOCODE 33HQ20080329) in the Bering Sea from 2008-03-29 to 2008-05-06. The cruise was funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) for the Bering Sea Ecosystem Study-Bering Sea Integrated Ecosystem Research Program (BEST-BSIERP) and supported by numerous agencies and institutions. The CTD operations on the cruise were managed by personnel from NOAA/PMEL in the Eco FOCI program, with technical expertise from Scripps Institution of Oceanography personnel, and deployment assistance from Healy personnel. These data were collected by Nicholas Bates of Bermuda Biological Station for Research and Jeremy Mathis of US DOC; NOAA; OAR; Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory as part of the CLIVAR_HLY0802 data set. CDIAC associated the following cruise ID(s) with this data set: BEST '08 Spring and HLY0802. The CARINA ... |
