Thearticleconsidersthequestionoftheroleoflocallorestudiesingeologyinthedevelopmentoftheconstruction industry in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District during the first five-year plans. It is shown that in the conditions of economic backwardness of the district, local history work looked the most promising for solving a number of administrative tasks, including economic ones. The work of brick and lime enterprises of the Yamal-Nenets District in the 1930s is characterized. : Встатье рассмотрен вопрос о роли геологического краеведения для становления строительной промышленности в Ямало-Ненецком округе в годы первых пятилеток. Показано, что в условиях экономической отсталости округа, краеведческая работа выглядела наиболее перспективной для решения целого ряда административных задач, в том числе и экономического характера. Охарактеризована работа кирпичных и известковых предприятий Ямало-Ненецкого округа в 1930-е годы. : №1(102) (2019)
