| Summary: | This dataset contains temperature and salinity data collected in the Chukchi Sea during the 7 August - 22 August 2017 Arctic Marine Biodiversity Observing Network (AMBON) research cruise. The dataset consists of bottle samples and CTD data. The data provides information on important Arctic Chukchi Sea ecosystem parameters, including temperature, salinity, pressure, and fluorescence as an index of phytoplankton biomass. In aggregate these variables are basic descriptors of the water masses entering the Chukchi Sea from the Pacific through the Bering Strait.
