Description
Summary:The MARCUS (Measurements of Aerosols, Radiation and CloUds over the Southern Oceans) campaign occurred between October 2017 and March 2018 aboard RSV Aurora Australis during its summer season resupplying Australia’s Antarctic research stations from its port in Hobart, Australia. The campaign involved deploying the ARM Mobile Facility (https://www.arm.gov/capabilities/observatories/amf) aboard the Aurora Australis in order to collect data in sea-ice locations inaccessible to platforms without ice-breaking capability. The data set presented in this collection are the cloud condensation nuclei (CCN) and condensation nuclei (CN) data set with contamination by ship exhaust removed.
