Summary:Results of researches of shallow bottom communities of a northern part of Kola Bay in 2013 are presented. The biological diversity and distribution of a zoobenthos at a depth up to 20–25 m is for the first time established, distribution of characteristics of a benthos depending on environment factors is analyzed. Types of bottom communities are described, their characteristic is provided. The conclusion is drawn on resistance of communities of sessile suspension-feeders to the modern level of pollution of the gulf. In communities of soft soil insignificant influence of a stress on a benthos is noted at certain stations. Trophic activity of invasive predator (the red king crab), but not pollution of the environment could be the most probable cause of violations. : №4 (2018)
