Появление письменности и сложение книжной культуры любого народа является основным мерилом приобщения к гениальному изобретению человечества – возможности фиксировать свою мысль и передавать ее во времени и пространстве. В настоящей статье предпринята попытка составления исторической реконструкции истоков - 197 - книжности народов Севера. Начало изучения книжности Якутии положено Е.П. Гуляевой. Исследования которой восполнили пробел историографии якутской книжности, воссоздана общая панорама эволюции книгоиздания Якутии в 1812–1917 гг., составлен репертуар первых книг на языках народов Якутии. На базе реконструированного репертуара составлен «Сводный каталог якутской книги (1812–1917 гг.)», отражающий поэкземплярное описание первых книг на языках народов Якутии в фондохранилищах Якутии и России в целом. Благодаря информационному потенциалу сводного каталога стала возможной историческая реконструкция истоков книжного культурного потенциала общества Якутии. Не все народы Якутии получили возможность обрести книжность на своем языке в дореволюционный период, данный факт освещен в данной работе. Более позднее развитие эвенкийской книжности тесно связано с именем ученого лингвиста и этнографа Глафиры Макарьевны Василевич. : The emergence of writing and the composition of the book culture of any nation is the main measure of familiarizing with the ingenious invention of mankind the ability to fix their thoughts and transmit them in time and space. This article will discuss the historical reconstruction of the origins of the bookishness of the peoples of the North. The beginning of the study of book writing in Yakutia was laid by the study of E.P. Gulyaeva. She filled the gap in the historiography of the Yakut literature, recreated the general panorama of the evolution of book publishing in Yakutia in 1812-1917, compiled a repertoire of the first books in the languages of the peoples of Yakutia. On the basis of the reconstructed repertoire, the “Composite catalog of the Yakut book (1812–1917)” was compiled, reflecting an exemplary description of the first books in the languages of the peoples of Yakutia in the depositories of Yakutia and Russia as a whole. Due to the informational potential of the consolidated catalog, historical reconstruction of the origins of the book cultural potential of Yakutian society has become possible. Not all the peoples of Yakutia got the opportunity to find books in their own language in the pre-revolutionary period, this fact is also highlighted in this work. The later development of the book of Evenki book writing is associated with the name of the scientist linguist and ethnographer Glafira Makaryevna Vasilevich.
