Summary:The article presents the results of studying the staffing of preschool education institutions in Karelia in the 20-30s of the XX century. The purpose of the study is to identify the features of staff problems of preschool institutions in Karelia in the 1920s–1930s. Methods – a frontal study of archival funds of the National Archive of the Republic of Karelia, analysis, comparison, generalization of archival and published sources. The result of the study was a description of the features of staff problems of preschool institutions in Karelia in the 1920s-1930s, state mechanisms for their resolution. Typical problems were an acute shortage of staff, their low education. Besides, the contradictions that have arisen in the development of public preschool education are highlighted. The first is between the acute social demand for personnel by the preschool education system and the low prestige of the educator's profession in Karelia. It manifested in the absence of intentions to connect a career with the ... : В статье представлены результаты изучения кадрового обеспечения учреждений дошкольного воспитания в Карелии в 10-30-х гг. XX в. Цель исследования – выявление особенностей кадрового обеспечения дошкольных учреждений Карелии в 1910–1930-х гг. Методами получения данных явились фронтальное изучение архивных фондов Национального архива Республики Карелия, анализ, сравнение, обобщение архивных и опубликованных источников. Результаты исследования. Описаны кадровые проблемы дошкольных учреждений Карелии в 10–30-х гг. XX в., кадровые противоречия и государственные меры их разрешения. Типичными проблемами являлись недостаток кадров, их низкая квалификация, отсутствие учреждений для подготовки воспитателей, высокий социальный и низкий личный престиж профессии воспитателя у населения Карелии. Существование указанных проблем породило ряд противоречий, оказывающих влияние на кадровое обеспечение дошкольных учреждений.
