This document presents the Summary for Policymakers of the 2018 Arctic Ocean Acidifi cation (AOA) Assessment. More detailed information on the results of the assessment can be found in the 2018 AOA Assessment Report. For more information, contact the AMAP Secretariat. AMAP, established in 1991 under the eightcountry Arctic Environmental Protection Strategy, monitors and assesses the status of the Arctic region with respect to pollution and climate change. AMAP produces science-based policy-relevant assessments and public outreach products to inform policy and decision-making processes.
