She also makes dolls for Sister Kenny Hospital, comforters, pillows and footwear for Ranchos Los Amigos and Veterans. Mrs. Mary Smith and young neighbor Karen Aspittle, pack dolls into box held by Ralph Smith. Dolls will be shipped to Sister Kenny Hospital as Christmas gifts for young patients. Mrs. Smith is known as 'Mrs. Santa Claus in Lomita'. Neighborhood kids line up to tell Santa Claus what they want for Christmas at scene in front of home of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Lawton, 62407 Arcturas, Gardena. Toys go into Santa's Workshop, come out as gifts wrapped in gay paper. Edward Lawson adjusts gift wrapping, left, and Mrs. Nell Lawton works at toys right. Ingenious outside decorations feature Santa's Workshop. Toys go into shop come out as wrapped gifts. Toys and packages are on treadmill which continually go 'round and round'. North pole, candy canes, a Santa Claus and reindeer complete Christmas scene.
