В настоящей статье на основе анализа широкого круга исторических источников, а также результатов полевых работ удалось определить место зимовки и гибели судна. В ходе исследования выяснилось, что в исторической литературе практически неизученным является процесс картографирования и научного обследования дельты Енисея. В связи с этим в работе делается попытка частично восполнить этот пробел. : The polar expedition aboard the clipper Severnoe Siianie (Aurora Borealis) in 1876/77 was the first Russian attempt to navigate the Kara Sea Route from east to west in the 19th century. This paper focuses on establishing the location of the winter camp of the expedition and its vessel, which was shipwrecked in the Yenisei Delta. During the research, the author has concluded that the process of mapping and exploring the Yenisei Delta has found little reflection in historical literature.
