The Chugach Regional Resources Commission (CRRC) operates the Alutiiq Pride Marine Institute (APMI), and its Ocean Acidification Research Laboratory (OAR Lab), in Seward Alaska. This project incorporates dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC) sampling for the purposes of quantifying ocean acidification into the Gulf Watch Program currently funded by Exxon Valdez Oil Spill Trustee Council (EVOSTC). The Gulf Watch program, through its routine sampling, has added the collection of DIC samples to several of its sampling sites.
