Summary:This dataset is provided as 2 CSV files containing export fluxes measured using a sequential multi-sediment trap (Hydro-Bios) deployed on a subsurface mooring at the Chukchi Ecosystem Observatory (CEO) on the NE Chukchi Sea continental shelf in 2015-2016 and 2018-2019. Sequential sediment traps are key tools to detect change in the biogeochemical and ecological functioning of marine ecosystems as they collect sinking particles that reflect biological processes occurring in surface waters over a long period. The mooring observatory is located on the southern flank of Hanna Shoal, 70 miles offshore, at 71.6 °N and 161.5 °W. The parameters measured and presented in the files include fluxes of total particulate matter (TPM), particulate organic carbon (POC), chlorophyll a (Chl a), fecal pellet carbon (FPC), diatoms, copepods and copepod nauplii, and meroplankton.
