Текст данной научной статьи представляет из себя изложение результатов исследования практик взаимодействия и кооперации Соединенных Штатов Америки и Российской Федерации в Арктическом регионе. В исторической ретроспективе кратко анализируются основные этапы этого взаимодействия, рассматривается и характеризуется современная ситуация, как непосредственно в самом регионе, включая большинство из имеющихся проблем и вызовов, так и во взаимоотношениях двух государств. В статье перечислены основополагающие документы и нормативно-правовые акты, регламентирующие арктическую политику государств, а также государственные органы, непосредственно ответственные за ее реализацию. Приведена широкая доказательная база, включающая материалы докладов авторитетных организаций, мнения экспертов и чиновников, тексты официальных документов и результаты исследовательской деятельности крупных научных центров. Обосновывается необходимость усиления сотрудничества Соединенных Штатов и Российской Федерации при решении конкретных задач и противостоянии общим угрозам, предлагаются конкретные направления деятельности, совместная работа по которым способна оказать положительный эффект на взаимоотношения в целом : The text of this scientific article is a statement of results of a research the practician of interaction and cooperation of the United States of America and the Russian Federation in the Arctic region. In a historical retrospective the main stages of this interaction are briefly analyzed, the modern situation as directly in the region, including the majority of the available problems and calls, and in relationship of two states is considered and characterized. The fundamental documents and normative legal acts regulating the Arctic policy of the states, and also the public authorities directly responsible for her realization are listed in article. The wide evidential base including materials of reports of the authoritative organizations, opinions of experts and officials, texts of official documents and results of research activity of large scientific centers is given. Need of strengthening of cooperation of the United States and the Russian Federation is proved at the solution of specific objectives and opposition to the general threats, concrete activities, collaboration in which is capable to render positive effect on relationship in general, are offered. It is known that other subarctic countries also apply for the region. All are interested in development of natural wealth on the Arctic shelf though they well understand that it is very expensive actions. In article the problem of safety of the region is considered. Now both Russia, and the USA are anxious with military presence in this region
