Декоративность является одним из важнейших свойств красивоцветущих кустарников. Виды, для которых характерна высокая декоративность, способны расширить разнообразие городских ландшафтов Севера. В работе приведена декоративная оценка интродуцированных видов рода Syringa L., произрастающих в условиях дендросада им. И. М. Стратоновича в г. Архангельске. На основании собственных и литературных данных разработана шкала оценки декоративности сиреней. Методика основана на 12 критериях: архитектоника кроны; текстура, окраска коры; длительность цветения; окраска и величина цветков; аромат цветков и плодов; привлекательность плодов; характер плодоношения; цветовая гамма осенней окраски листьев; продолжительность облиствления; устойчивость вида к повреждениям и болезням; зимостойкость вида; композиционные возможности использования вида. Данная шкала может быть рекомендована для комплексной оценки декоративных признаков других красивоцветущих кустарниковых пород. ... : Decorative evaluation is one of the most important qualities and properties of beautifully flowering shrubs, which contributes to a significant enrichment, prolongation of flowering and aesthetic appearance of the dendroflora. This paper presents a decorative assessment of introduced species of the genus Syringa L. growing in the conditions of the I. M. Stratonovich arboretum. Species characterized by high decorativeness are able to expand the diversity of urban landscapes of the North. Lilac occupies one of the leading places among ornamental plants. This culture deserves special attention due to its beautiful appearance and high decorative qualities. To date, various scales have been developed to assess the decorative features of this dendroflora. At the same time, in most cases they are designed for general groups of tree and shrub species, and they are not always suitable for evaluating beautifully flowering shrubs.
