BIOLOGICALLY ACTIVE SUBSTANCES OF CONIFEROUS PLANTS OF YAKUTIA

: The growing interest among the population in biologically active additives, as well as in traditional medicine in general, is explained by the relatively low toxicity of herbal preparations, the possibility of long-term use, easy digestibility, a wide range of therapeutic action [1], as well as number of other factors. However, due to high demand, there is a shortage of new promising plants. For this reason, the relevance of the study of plants that have not yet been included in official medicine is determined. The objects of study of this work are conifers common in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) Juniperus communis, Pinus pumila and Pinus sylvestris. These species are widely used medicinal plant materials among the local population of Yakutia. It is also known that the Russian Far East has huge resources of P. pumila for medical use. In particular, the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) has 15,220.8 thousand hectares of stands with a predominance of P. pumila [2]. In the course of the work, the results of a quantitative study of the needles of J. communis, P. pumila and P. sylvestris for the main classes of biologically active substances (tannins, organic acids, phenolic compounds, flavonoids) were presented.
