Старейшим учреждением духовного ведомства на территории Якутского края является Спасский мужской монастырь, на столетия ставший центром распространения и укрепления Православия в регионе. С основанием монастыря связано начало миссионерской деятельности Русской Церкви в Якутии. Авторы прослеживают историю обители с момента основания (1663) и до завершения его деятельности (1922). Показана архитектура монастырского комплекса, его многоотраслевое хозяйство, значимость как центр духовного управления региона. В статье освещается также и новейшая история монастыря, возрожденного в 2013 г. ... : The article provides an overview of the oldest institution of the spiritual department in the Yakut region – the Spassky Monastery, which for centuries became the center of the spread and strengthening of Orthodoxy in the region. The founding of the monastery marked the beginning of the missionary activity of the Russian Church in Yakutia. The authors trace the history of the monastery from its foundation (1663) to the end of its activities (1922). The importance of the architecture of the monastery complex and its diversified economy as the center of spiritual governance of the region is emphasized. The authors also give the recent history of the monastery, which was revived in 2013. ...
