В работе раскрываются проблемы освоения новых территорий Сибири и Аляски. В XIX веке вопросами просвещения и распространения Православия среди народов Сибири и Аляски занимался свт. Иннокентий Вениаминов. В результате его трудов на Камчатке и побережье появились школы для местных детей, больницы, приюты : The paper reveals the problems of the development of new territories in Siberia and Alaska. In the XIX century, the issues of education and the spread of Orthodoxy among the peoples of Siberia and Alaska were dealt with by the Svt. Innokenty Veniaminov.
