В статье приводится анализ образных глаголов якутского и шорского языков с целью выявления функциональных особенностей образных глаголов в контексте эпического текста путем рассмотрения семантической характеристики глагольных лексем и их отношений в тексте в качестве экспрессивной лексики. Актуальность исследования обусловлена недостаточной изученностью функциональных особенностей образных глаголов в эпических текстах. Результат проделанного анализа показывает, что образные глаголы используются в большей степени в описании движений богатырей, внешнего вида персонажей, что говорит об описательно-характерологической функции, но у якутских образных глаголов преобладает интерпретационная и эмоционально-оценочная функция, в шорских глаголах – описательно-характерологическая функция. : The article analyzes the image-forming verbs of the Yakut and Shor languages in order to identify the functional features of image-forming verbs in the context of an epic text by considering the semantic characteristics of verbal lexemes and their relationships in the text as expressive vocabulary. The relevance of the research is due to insufficient knowledge of the functional features of image-forming verbs in epic texts. The study material includes the epics – the Yakut olonkho “Bogatyr Kebue Jagyl” by P. Khabarov and the Shor legend “Altyn Syryk” by P.I. Kydyyakov. The classification of text functions of emotive vocabulary by L.G. Babenko is taken as a basis for identifying the functional features of image-forming verbs. The result of the analysis shows that image-forming verbs are used largely in describing the movements of heroes, the appearance of characters, which speaks of a descriptive and characterological function, but in Yakut image-forming verbs the interpretive and emotional-evaluative function prevails, in Shor verbs – descriptive and characterological function. Thus, the using of such linguistic units as image-forming verbs, which give to the storyteller’s speech brightness and richness, may have common specifics and characteristic features, depending on the level of perception of the surrounding world in the imaginative and descriptive terms, fantasy, figurative-associative representation and expressiveness of the language of each storyteller.
