Одной из задач полевых работ 2018 г. по геологическому доизучению площади (ГДП) масштаба 1:1 000 000 на площади листов R-57,58 было изучение образований едомного комплекса. Исследованы разрезы на побережье Восточно-Сибирского моря, проведено сравнение с опорными разрезами, расположенными в бассейне реки Колымы, изучение вещественного состава, комплексное опробование для уточнения генезиса толщи, условий формирования отложений, абсолютного возраста и едомной толщи, и подстилающих её отложений. : One of the tasks of the field work in 2018 on the geological additional exploration of the area of 1: 1 000 000 scale on the area of R-57,58 sheets was the study of the formations of the Edoma complex. The coast sections from the East Siberian Sea were studied, compared with the reference sections located in the Kolyma River basin, the study of the lithology, complex testing was carried out to identify the genesis of the stratum and environment conditions, radiocarbon age of Edoma and sediments below.
