Данная статья посвящена проблемам изучения древнеэскимосской древнеберингоморской культуры. Несмотря на почти вековую историю исследований, некоторые аспекты жизни её представителей до сих пор остаются недостаточно исследованными. Автор отмечает, что наряду с активным изучением могильников, мало внимания уделялось жилищным комплексам. Целью данной работы является введение в научный оборот новых материалов древнеберингоморской культуры. В статье представлены описание и анализ керамического комплекса из жилища поселения Кивак, расположенного на побережье Чукотского полуострова. Для изготовления посуды использовались самые простые приёмы получения формовочной массы глины, формовки сосудов и орнаментации. Керамическая технология соответствует климатическим особенностям и местным ресурсам поселения. Автор приходит к выводу о важности дальнейшего изучения жилищных комплексов и инвентаря, необходимых для реконструкции быта и экономики древнеэскимосских поселений. : This paper is devoted to the problems of studying the ancient Eskimos Ancient Bering culture. Despite the almost century-long history of research, some aspects of the life of this people still remain poorly understood. The author notes that along with an active study of burial grounds, little attention was paid to dwelling complexes. The aim of this work is to introduce into the scientific circulation new materials of the Ancient Bering culture. The paper describes and analyzes the ceramic complex from the dwelling of the settlement of Kivak, located on the coast of the Chukotka Peninsula. For the production of pottery, the simplest methods were used to making the molding mass of clay, the shaping of vessels and ornamentation. Ceramic technology matches the climate and local resources of the settlement. The author comes to the conclusion that it is necessary to further study dwelling complexes and equipment necessary for the reconstruction of everyday life and the economy of ancient Eskimos settlements.
