This report contains the submitted contributions from two International Workshops of the Forum for Research into Ice Shelf Processes. The 2005 meeting was held at the Geophysical Institute, University of Bergen, Norway, while in 2006 British Antarctic Survey, Cambridge, UK was our hosts. FRISP continues its circumpolar broader focus, and the Ross, Fimbul, and Brunt and Filchner-Ronne ice shelves were adressed, as well as floating ice bergs and Antarcticas role in global ocean models. FRISP also report on activity upstream of the ice shelves on the glaciers to some extent. Adrian Jenkins is the present chairman of FRISP, and the reports are printed by the Bjerknes Centre for Climate Research (BCCR). University of Bergen host the FRISP web pages (www.gfi.uib.no/frisp). Participants found the simplicity of the web pages a good policy and the online reports useful in addition to the printed reports. CRYOLIST will still be the recomendation to spread information in the FRISP comunity. The future plans session covered a variety of the International Polar Year (IPY) plans, and the idea of having a joint meeting with the West Antarctic Ice Sheet Inititative (WAIS) during the IPY was born.
