As part of the K3S goals, ocean currents and pressure were measured over a year.An oceanographic mooring was deployed from onboard the Arctic Research Foundation's R/V Martin Bergmann in the summer of 2016 and recovered the following year (9 Aug. 2016 to 30 Aug. 2017). The mooring was at the deepest location and the greatest constriction of Dease Strait, near the Finlayson Islands. One instrument on this mooring was an upward facing 300kHz Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP, RDI Sentinel V100), moored 1 m above the sea floor at a depth of 108 m. The ADCP measured ocean current and pressure and was configured with 2 m bins in the vertical and to burst sample using 40 pings at 2 second intervals every 15 minutes, then averaged hourly. Here we present year-long time-series of hourly elevation (pressure) and ocean currents (u and v) within the water column. Ocean currents (u and v) and elevation (pressure) were measured using an Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP) over a year (9 Aug. 2016 to 30 Aug. 2017) within Dease Strait, which is in the "Kitikmeot Sea" in the southern Canadian Arctic Archipelago.
