Summary: | As a part of the Nansen Legacy Project, a mooring was deployed between the Edgeøya and Hopen islands on Spitsbergenbanken in the north-western Barents Sea. The observations cover a 13 month period from September 2018 to November 2019. The mooring was deployed at 24.407 E, 77.269 N, at 69 m depth and consisted of a bottom frame containing an upward-looking ADCP (Signature 500 sn 100751) and a CTD (SBE37 sn 16963). The time series of temperature, salinity, pressure, and current velocity are averaged into a common, uniform 1-hour resolution time stamp. The current velocity time series are provided on a 3 m depth grid covering most of the water column. The Nansen Legacy was supported by the Research Council of Norway (project number 276730). ... |
