Description
Summary:Ocean currents, temperature and pressure time series from two oceanographic moorings deployed in the Siple Trough, the trough west of Siple island leading in to the western front of the Getz ice shelf in the Amundsen Sea, Antarctica. The moorings (UiB1 and UiB4) were deployed/retrieved from RV. Araon in January 2016/2018 and consisted of ADCP:s (RDI) and temperature/pressure sensors (Seabird Electronics; SBE56, SBE39, SBE37). The time resolution is 2h or higher. In total 4 txt-files are provided, two for each mooring. Details on the mooring design and instrument set-up are given in the cruise reports while the data processing is described in a separate document. Part of the data set is reported on in Assmann, Darelius, Wåhlin, Kim and Lee., 2019 (GRL). ...
