Summary: | Since late 2020, over 100 infrasound stations— a legacy of the USArray Transportable Array —have been incorporated into the Alaska Geophysical Network. This regional infrasound network is relatively dense and spans thousands of kilometers, covering a wide range of land cover types across the state from temperate rainforest to exposed tundra. Each station is equipped with a Hyperion IFS-4132 infrasound sensor recording in real time at 40 samples per second and flat from the 10.0 Hz Nyquist frequency down to 0.02 Hz.
