These satellite images were processed with the OSSP (Open Source Sea ice Processing) Algorithm to categorize the surface observed in each image into four categories: 1) Snow and thick ice, 2) thin or slushy ice, 3) melt ponds and submerged ice, and 4) open water. Each image of surface classifications is a geotiff that contains the georeferencing data of the source satellite image. ...
