It contains processed strain data in nanostrain unit measured by OptoDAS interrogator through a dark fiber in a submarine telecommunication cable, which was trenched into soft sediments at 0--2 m below the seafloor from Longyearbyen to Ny-Ålesund in Svalbard, Norway. The raw data was acquired from 2020-06-23 to 2020-08-04, and converted to strain data in nanostrain unit. To reduce file sizes, we resampled the raw data with 80% antialiasing filter from 1.55 to 20 ms. This processed data then have a Nyquist frequency of 25 Hz, and are archived accordingly.
