The μXRF, CT, MS, DBD, and LOI measurements derive from the 357.5 cm long sediment core L50319, collected from the Kerguelen Islands. The site, the informally named Lake 5 (49.14°S, 69.09°E, ∼130 m above sea level), was cored using a gravity corer and modified piston corer as part of the joined NFR grant funded project SOUTHSPHERE (project number 267719) and Institut Polaire Français (IPEV) funded project PALAS2 ('PAleoclimate from LAke Sediments on Kerguelen Archipelago 2'; project number: 1094). ...
