As for field work, we will collect Humback whale sloughed skin samples, take photos and videos of the individuals and collect data needed for population study. Sampling will take place outside of the reserve boundaries, in the open sea around Tetiaroa. On the reserve, we wish to meet the staff to collect information on whales sighted around the atoll over the years.
