Description
Summary:The EddyFen station measures carbon dioxide fluxes via eddy covariance method in the wet fen site (40 m.a.s.l) close to the Methane (Flux Monitoring), InteractFen (Meteorology, Soil Properties, Snow Properties) and SoilFen (Meteorology, Soil Properties) stations. In order to describe the inter-annual variability of the seasonal carbon balance, net ecosystem exchange (NEE) of carbon dioxide (CO2) is measured by applying the eddy covariance method. Due to lack of power, data is only collected in the summer field season (app. May-October). The station was established in 2007. In 2018 the station was moved a couple of meters and the instrumentation was changed. Data after 2017 is found under "EddyFen_2018-" (2007-2018: LiCor: 7000, 2018-: LiCor 7200, 2007-: Gill 1210R3) Fluxmonitoring:Fluxmonitoring GeoBasis Nuuk:The GeoBasis monitoring programme focuses on selected abiotic characteristics in order to describe the state of Greenlandic terrestrial environments and their potential feedback effects in a changing ...
